Hey there, I’m Homar Herrera. I’m a designer working and living in Pittsburgh.
I create logos and digital art by finding the right balance of space, color and texture.
What began with a degree in Media Arts & Animation from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh has grown into a lifestyle of learning new efficient techniques and researching the latest trends.
From illustration to digital media, I use my abilities to bring visions to life.
There are few things in design that are more subjective—or more important—than the use of color. A color that can evoke one reaction in one person may evoke the opposite reaction in another, due to culture, prior association, or even just personal preference.
As one of the elements of design, shapes play a powerful role in communication. You can mix them, match them and combine them to create eye catching designs.
"The public is more familiar with bad design than good design. It is, in effect, conditioned to prefer bad design, because that is what it lives with. The new becomes threatening, the old reassuring."
Homar's in-depth knowledge of logo design clearly showed in the work he did for us. It allowed for us to create professional, eye-catching products.
I would definitely recommend Homar to any prospective client looking for graphic design work. The feedback for my cafe website has been fantastic.
My goal is to execute ideas in an evolving world of digital media, and my passion is using the most current tools to make those ideas shine.
